Welcome to 3rd Grade at SY Charter School! My name is Ms. Dalton and I am so excited to have your child in my class. During our year, students will be active participants in many activities such as a few novel studies, outside learning, exercising their skills with multiplication and division, participate in research projects, run a snack shop, explore Native American & Chumash cultures, and complete a group garden project,

a little about me:
I graduated from CSU Channel Islands with a BA (2015) and Teaching Credential (2017). I completed my credential clearance in Spring of 2020 through UCSB. I became a Charter Dragon, where I taught 5/6 Grade Math and Science in 2018. in 2019, I transitioned to 3rd Grade, this will be my sixth year teaching this grade, I'm so excited for this new year of learning and fun!
I am the oldest in my family with two younger brothers. I have a close bond with my family and enjoy spending time with them! I love theme days and school spirit (or any opportunity to dress up), crafting, and dessert - especially chocolate. I've had a passion for teaching since I was in 4th grade and I absolutely enjoy what I do... It's the best career!
